The 1968 Gibson ES-335 is often considered the "last of the great" vintage 335s, featuring a 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, a one-piece mahogany neck with a long neck tenon, and large f-holes. It is known for a relatively narrow 1 9/16" nut width with a fuller, deeper neck profile than 1967 models, rosewood fretboard with small block inlays, and "Pat. No." decal humbuckers.
