Here's something you don't see every day!
Based on the pioneering Gibson ES-150, the ETG-150 was introduced in 1937 and remained in production until 1971. The ETG-150 has the same 16” archtop body as the ES-150 but with a slim, fast, low action single piece mahogany tenor neck with adjustable truss rod. It has an arched Maple to and back with mahogany sides and ivoroid bindings, and a lovely Rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays. The powerful 4 pole P90 pickup (a P60?) with separate tone and volume controls that provides a superbly clear, clean tenor tone. The guitar is finished off with a floating Rosewood adjustable bridge, nickel plated tail piece, Kluson tuners and a 4 ply scratch plate.
