The 1917 Gibson L-1 is a pioneering acoustic instrument featuring a carved archtop design combined with a round soundhole. Renowned for a punchy, woody tone and natural compression, it boasts a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a flat ebony fingerboard.
